Description :
As our Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by actively promoting and selling our industrial goods(cutting tools, workholding, safety equipment, fasteners and other related items) to potential clients.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
This position requires travel within Southern California and periodically into nearby states. The approximate weekly ratio is 2-3 days of travel and 1-2 days of office work contacting clients and leads.
Requirements :
- A strong charcter willing to face difficult clients at times and rejection
- Some knowledge of manufacturing and / or machining in the industrial space.
- Understanding of Customer Needs : Being able to identify and understand the unique needs and challenges faced by manufacturers is crucial for effective sales.
- Effective Communication Skills : Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to clearly convey information and build rapport with customers.
- Problem-solving Ability : Being able to analyze customer requirements and provide suitable solutions that align with their goals and objectives is vital.
- Negotiation Skills : The salesman should possess persuasive negotiation skills to secure favorable deals and agreements while maintaining profitability for the company.
- Continuous Learning : Staying updated on industry trends, market developments, and advancements in industrial processes is crucial to adapt to changing customer demands and maintain a competitive edge.
- Marketing : Some general idea of marketing tactics is useful, though no background in marketing is required.
