V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a SRE Architect (100% Remote) for our premier client.

Education and Experience

Preferred Years of Experience : 5+ years.

• Consulting experience desired.
• Azure DevOps.
• Experience with SSO integrations.
• Experience with DevOps & automation

Top 3-5 must-have skills :

• Extensive Azure Cloud experience.
• In-depth understanding of Azure security and networking concepts.
• Experience using Terraform to provision Azure infrastructure as code across multiple environments to support SDLC processes.
• Terraform (scripting to support CI / CD pipelines).
• New Relic apm instrumentation experience.

Nice-to-have skills :

• Working knowledge of Azure subscriptions and how these maps to resource groups.
• LaunchDarkly experience or similar Feature Flag products.
• Kubernetes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Top 3-5 behavioral competencies :

• Previous experience of building and supporting mission-critical software and infrastructure.
• Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative and working independently.
• Flexibility. Must be able to fill in blanks in requirements and design solutions that support business requirements. Must also be able to adjust to changing requirements as projects develop and grow.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity, enjoy learning new things.

Job Responsibilities :

• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market for suite of software solutions.
• Help build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
