Senior Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a Senior Plant Operations Manager in our Zanesville, OH Morningstar Farms plant. As the Senior Plant Operations Manager, youll be responsible for balancing short-term tactics and long-term strategy.

As the Senior Operations Manager for our team, you play a pivotal role in the leadership team, acting as the right hand to the Plant Director.

Our departments collaborate closely to streamline processes, implement strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.

Your leadership extends to mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of safety, and promoting a positive work environment.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

Drive Results : Develop and implement a comprehensive operations program, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Work to maximize efficiency and assure peak plant performance by overseeing the Operations teams performance. You will utilize operational metrics to foster visibility and alignment.

Think Big : Lead, manage, and direct the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) initiatives and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. You will help our team grow and learn as you coach and develop leaders on the Kellanova Work System, look at employee performance development, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression / readiness.

Do it the Right Way : Promote safety across the plant. Investigate production processes and recommend improvements to ensure that needs are met.

Prepare and adhere to the established operations budget, monitoring departmental expenditures, including all production and labor cost centers, supplies, outside services, and departmental labor.

Were Looking For Someone With

• High School diploma or GED
• Managerial experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
• Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations
• Collaborative work style, able to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance
• Demonstrating an owners mindset
