About Bar Crenn
Bar Crenn, opened by Chef Dominique Crenn in 2018, has been newly transformed to be modeled after a Japanese listening bar.
The intimate and elegant design of the bar is intended to inspire conversation and community. Host to Le Comptoir Crenn (1 Michelin star), where changing menus are cooked live in front of only six guests and are inspired by daily produce and seafood.
The dining room at Bar Crenn also offers Lounge seating with light and luxurious small bites, both savory and sweet. The menu lends itself to unique pairings with wine, spirits and cocktails.

The Bar Crenn Chef de Partie will be responsible for mise en place and dish preparation under the direction of a Sous Chef.
Qualities & Skills Required :
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant
Culinary degree or equivalent training
Deep understanding of French cuisine and a passion for culinary innovation
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and / or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and / or lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces.

Execute and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes in accordance with Bar Crenn's culinary standards.
Ensure consistency and precision in all aspects of food production, adhering to the restaurant's unique style and vision.
Prepare menu items according to the prescribed recipes and / or special requests.
Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives
Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
Team Collaboration :
Collaborate closely with the culinary team, including sous chefs and pastry department, to maintain a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment.
Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive and constructive team atmosphere.
Station Management :
Take ownership of a specific kitchen station, managing and organizing it to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on techniques, recipes, and standards.
Quality Control :
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring the use of fresh and premium ingredients.
Adhere to Standards :
Follow and enforce all food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Adhere to Bar Crenn's culinary philosophy and contribute to the continuous improvement of culinary techniques.
