Technology / Financial Services Commercial Contracts Counsel

Latitude is working with a leading, publicly-traded cryptocurrency company to identify a collaborative, creative attorney to serve as technology and strategic commercial contracts counsel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background across a wide variety of technology and financial services-related contracts, joint ventures and strategic partnership agreements.

This role may be based in company offices in either Atlanta (Alpharetta) or New York City (hybrid in-office schedule).

Requirements for the Technology / Financial Services Contracts Counsel :

• 4+ years of legal experience (ideally a mix of corporate law firm and in-house, but attorneys with only law firm experience will also be considered)
• Deep experience with technology contracts : SaaS, professional services, etc.
• Ideally, experience with fintech or other financial services vendor and strategic partnering agreements
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under short deadlines and outside normal working hours with minimal advance notice and minimal supervision;

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia or New York or able to qualify for in-house exemption
• Graduate of a well-regarded, ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance
• Outstanding professional references

Position Details of the Technology / Financial Services Contracts Counsel :

• Type of role : In-House Counsel - Permanent
• Schedule : Full-time
• Location : Hybrid (Atlanta or New York City)

Compensation :

Pay : The annualized pay for this position ranges from $170,000 to $210,000 of base salary as well as an annual cash bonus and significant annual equity incentive.

Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, office location, qualifications, and credentials.

Benefits : In addition to pay, the full benefits will be available, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plans and generous leave policies.
