Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Procurement Specialist that will work as part of a team responsible to procure and manage design and construction services for various NYCHA projects and will be a direct report to and receive guidance from the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Develop a procurement schedule for each project.
  • Prepare procurement related documents including Notices of Intent, Requests for Qualifications, Requests for Proposals, and Recommendation for Award.
  • Coordinate with other team members to develop complete and comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) packages in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to write / edit / revise / develop solicitation documents, contract scopes and budgets, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Accurately and efficiently manage content of all assigned procurements, including following up with relevant personnel, and managing multiple document revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures including contributing to the development of purchasing policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

BA / BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
