Our client is seeking a Full-time Housekeeper to assist with the daily cleaning, laundry, and overall care of their Westchester home.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a formal household and will be comfortable working with a team.
Responsibilities : Full charge museum quality housekeeping throughout the residence Completing the laundry including washing, pressing and ironing sheets, clothing, towels, etc.
as necessary Maintaining tidy and orderly closets throughout residence; providing assistance with packing and unpacking for travel Liaising with vendors, contractors, and any other household services and employees in a positive manner.
Maintaining household inventories and procuring supplies as needed Running errands, grocery shopping, etc. Light personal assistance Caring for 2 dogs including walking, feeding, administering medication, etc.
Requirements : Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Minimum 5 years of related professional experience Ability to work in a dynamic environment, both as an individual contributor and team player Ability to take direction and follow policy and rules Excellent references required from both current and previous employers Professional, polished and discreet Must be comfortable handling fine garments and laundry Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Schedule : Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as requested.
