Wilson Elser's Long Island office is currently seeking a Product Liability Associate Attorney.

This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers with litigation experience who are looking to grow in their careers and take on increased and substantive defense litigation based responsibilities.

The Position

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of New York
• 2+ years of complex litigation, class actions, product liability and product recall experience
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Legal project management experience

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role on a dynamic and growing litigation team
• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and / or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
