Position Summary
Responsible for the coordination of scheduled work with BGE Customers, Vendors, and SMC crews.
Essential Job Duties
- Phone and / or e-mail contacts with BGE customers to schedule new or replacement gas service installation.
- Coordinate schedule with Project Superintendents when work available to be performed.
- Coordinate with SMC crews to ensure all aspects of the work are ready for mobilization of the crew to include Miss Utility cleared tickets and marks, scheduling of maintenance of traffic if needed, scheduling of welders if needed, ensuring required permits are in place and valid, and any other events / activities / meetings that may impact the completion of the work.
- Maintain constant communication with BGE representatives as to the schedule of work being performed on a daily basis (daily location sheets) and / or any changes to the schedule.
Qualifications
- Efficient performance of this position requires excellent communication skills both verbally and email. Communications should be precise, respectful, and professional at all times.
- Position requires efficient use of computer and software systems including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and various BGE systems as required.
- Must maintain valid drivers license and SMC driver requirements if utilizing SMC owned vehicle.
