Job Summary :
Star Tribune Media Company LLC seeks a full-time News Data Software Engineer. This role plays a critical part in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art News Data Systems.
Req : Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.
- Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following : (1) analyzing code to find causes of errors and revising programs or systems;
- 2) practicing Agile development methods and scrum processes; (3) conducting software code reviews and testing to ensure it meets business requirements;
4) designing, developing, and maintaining software components; and (5) working with web application and programming languages, including : PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, NodeJS, React Native, and GraphQL.
Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Telecommuting available from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Florida, and Kentucky, or in person at HQ at 650 3rd Ave S, Suite 1300, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55488.
