Sharding or Partitioning Experience : Design and implement database sharding strategies for efficient horizontal scaling.

Monitor and manage sharded databases to ensure even distribution of data and optimal query performance.

• Azure SQL Server : Experience in handling VM s in Azure, Manage SQL Instances, and SQL Databases in Azure. Utilize Azure services for scalability, security, and performance enhancements.
• Backup and Recovery : Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies for large databases. Perform regular database backups and conduct periodic recovery tests to ensure data integrity.
• Performance Tuning : Analyze and optimize query performance, indexing, and database configuration. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal database responsiveness.

Query Store experience required.

• Security : Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data. Stay current with industry best practices and security trends to ensure databases are protected against potential threats.
