Your New Role :
As a Travelling Electrician Foreman at PorterMatt Electric Inc., you’ll be our projects' leader and driving force. Your key responsibilities include :
- Managing and overseeing electrical construction projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
- Enforcing OSHA guidelines and utilizing safety-specific software to uphold impeccable safety standards.
- Leading a team of electricians, guaranteeing high-quality work and efficiency.
- Efficiently managing project budgets, labor, and materials.
- Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and schematics for precise installations.
- Implementing quality control measures to maintain our stellar reputation.
- Coordinating effectively with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues with your expertise.
- Communicating seamlessly with project managers, superintendents, and team members to hit project milestones.

- Ability to manage crews of 8-25 electricians.
- Experience with electrical budgets ranging from $700k to $3+ million.
- Strong background in commercial projects, including new construction and remodels.
- Ability to effectively order and track materials, perform labor projections, and develop as-builts.
- Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
- Well-versed in installing general power systems, including lighting, lighting control, refrigeration power / controls, Single-Line, and Utility UG.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and maintain focus on providing high-level customer service.
- OSHA-30 for Foreman (training provided if not already certified).
- Journeyman License (preferred but not required).
- Ability to relocate to Los Angeles County, CA before starting work.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time preferred.
