Corrugated container manufacturing company located in City of Industry, CA is seeking an experienced Corrugated Maintenance Supervisor / Lead.

Primary responsibilities are leadership on the production floor and excellence in demonstrating a commitment to our client safety and quality initiatives. The 2
shift supervisor is responsible for hands-on maintenance mechanic work, alongside coaching, training in the maintenance mechanic realm, and developing their team in safety, quality, problem solving, and the technical skills involved in the operation of the maintenance mechanic duties.
The supervisor will perform maintenance work as well as interact with other department supervisors, the Production Management team, and Customer Service to ensure quality, and on-time production goals are met.
Responsibilities :
- Leadership in safety process and coordinating department safety education.
- Coach and develop employees to maximize effectiveness.
- Identifies machine issues and works as a hands-on supervisor to repair machines with other maintenance mechanics.
- Achieve quality initiatives by leading processes to ensure lowest cost and best quality.
- Minimizing waste within the department by driving awareness, training, and accountability.
- Drive maximum throughput within the department by maintaining and increasing up-times and reducing machine’s downtimes.
- Accuracy in the reporting of production documentation and data entry.
Seeking experienced Industrial Mechanic / Electronic Tech for high speed corrugated facility with world class uptime requirements.
Candidates should have extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues to include :
- Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines;
following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Skills and Qualifications : Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal, Deals with Uncertainty, Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity.
Requirements :
- 3 to 5 years progressively responsible maintenance mechanics experience, in a supervisory capacity and the ability to self-direct and motivate.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with hourly personnel as well as managers.
- Ability and flexibility to think, react, and adapt quickly to changing requirements and manufacturing and equipment challenges.
- Corrugator industry knowledge, software and state of the art converting equipment knowledge is a plus.

Pay : $72,800 to $80,000 per year DOE
This pay range may be hire if you have Supervisory experience along with 7+ years of Corrugated experience!
