Marketing and Events Specialist
Classification Full-time employment; Exempt
Reports to Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Summary
The PSC marketing and events specialist will execute marketing and communications deliverables in support
of the firm’s sales and marketing strategies. Duties will include copywriting and content development, execution of
marketing campaigns, website updates, and event planning and promotion.
Essential Duties
- Executes marketing and communications tactics in support of the firm's sales and marketing strategy
- Contributes to copywriting / content development for web, marketing campaigns, and event promotion
- Leads the firm's social media presence, including writing post copy for all active channels, supporting the creation of graphic and video assets, implementing a quarterly calendar, and engaging with key clients and other target audiences across channels
- Collects, evaluates, and reports on web, social, and email campaign analytics to inform performance enhancements and optimization of digital marketing efforts
- Monitors news and social media outlets for firm and client mentions and event activity
- Coordinates the logistics, planning, and execution of PSC events
- Manages the firm’s client contact database to ensure accurate and timely communication of firm promotions and special events
- Maintains the firm’s website, including page and image updates and copy edits
- Supports sales by creating captivating email campaigns using a web-based email marketing platform
- Uses best practices across all digital mediums to elevate PSC’s position and brand
- Plans, develops, and positions content and other digital assets to measurably increase their impact across various channels
- Maintains a library of current imagery, videos, and other digital assets for sales and marketing needs

Qualifications
- An associate’s degree, with five years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three years of experience in a relevant field, such as marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, etc. is required
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, search engine optimization, Google Analytics, and other digital strategy techniques
- Strong competency using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with design and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software)
- Email marketing experience using email marketing automation software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
- Salary range of $55,616 70,624, commensurate with education and experience
