Summary
The purpose of the Business Systems Membership Accounting Associate is to process, audit, and maintain member account records including, but not limited to, member billing, point of sale, generating reports, maintaining electronic records, reconcile various processes and transactions, oversee medical and vacation bridge activity, and process center product / program tickets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Approve member agreements and change requests (involving maintaining customer data records).
2. Oversee medical and vacation bridge activity on member accounts.
3. Manage adjustments to member account activity and membership billing.
4. Process monthly membership billing.
5. Manage EFT returns; including processing past due membership accounts, generating reports and letters and then communicating back to centers.
6. Produce member statements and provide to centers.
7. Run membership expiration reports and provide expiration letters to centers.
8. Maintain and audit the membership database.
9. Reconcile daily Point of Sale transactions and upload journal entries.
10. Reconcile any issues / concerns related to customer accounts
11. Communicate with Financial Managers in achievement of monthly deadlines
12. Process inventory / product tickets
13. Attend and participate in departmental staff meetings
14. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals
15. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook at the time of hire.
16. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.
17. Travel is required.

Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One year certificate from college or technical school and 2-4 years related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience in bookkeeping and / or accounting field preferred.
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook software.
- Proficiency in keyboarding and experience in accurately entering data into software / database Experience with maintaining electronic records and basic accounting skills required.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- CPR / AED certification required.
