Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead and inspire a dedicated emergency department team during night shift operations
- Drive departmental excellence through strategic goal-setting and implementation
- Oversee clinical operations ensuring compliance with quality metrics and patient safety standards
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and professional development initiatives
- Direct patient care delivery systems and service quality improvements
- Monitor department performance metrics and implement evidence-based practice improvements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance emergency care delivery
- Oversee departmental budget and resource allocation
Qualifications :
- Current Kentucky RN license required
- 3+ years of Emergency Department or ICU experience
- Demonstrated success in building and mentoring healthcare teams
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and critical decision-making scenarios
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; MSN ideal for long-term growth
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
- Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and build partnerships across departments
