Seeking Registered Nurse!
Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit- STICU
PRN (Work as Needed), Nights (7pm-7am)
Job Duties :
In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
About the Unit :
The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult surgical and trauma-focused unit, providing specialized care for patients requiring critical care pre and post-operatively, neurosurgical patients, and those whose mechanisms of injury require intensive caring.
New graduate RNs are welcome.
Qualifications :
Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.
