Maternal Fetal Medicine
The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology announces the opening of a replacement Division Director position to bolster its Maternal Fetal Medicine portfolio.
Recruitment is for an open rank / open tenure Division Director applicant with a M.D., D.O. and / or M.D. / PhD degree at all ranks that has a sustained record of peer-reviewed scholarships;
preferably evidenced by significant research productivity and that is a well-respected clinician with significant high-risk obstetrics experience in both leadership and management.
The Division Director will report to the Chair for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will help to promote a culture of institutional collaboration and implement strategic planning, as a steward of the division, in uncharted territories of change in the healthcare and social environment.
The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology currently ranks as the 10th highest NIH-funded Ob / Gyn program and the institution as a whole is ranked 22nd.
The Department is very committed to growing its current research, education, and implementation efforts in Maternal Fetal Medicine womens health.

Required Qualifications The successful applicant will hold a M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Osteopathic Medicine;
