Job Description
Our client is seeking a Psychiatrist to join their progressive and exciting practice in Sacramento, California. This innovative group has carved out a unique niche in the market and is now looking for a Psychiatrist who will have the potential to serve in a Medical Director capacity.
You will mainly be working at an inpatient facility with the occasional bit of outpatient work at an associated clinic.

- Full-time, permanent position
- Flexible hours and scheduling
- Mostly inpatient, with a bit of clinic work
- Provide personalized patient-centered care
- Develop treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes
- Accurately chart according to practice guidelines
- Perform psychiatric evaluations covering the patient’s mental status, symptoms, and health histories

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Unrestricted and valid California medical license
- Experience performing electroconvulsive therapy
- Experience with neuromodulation preferred, but training will be provided, if necessary
- At least 2 years of experience in an ambulatory mental health setting or private psychiatric practice
