Job Description : MES Solutions Consultant Pharmaceutical Industry
Position Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced MES Solutions Consultant with over 10 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Emerson Syncade or Werum PAS-X.
This role will focus on solution design, implementation, and support of MES and digital manufacturing solutions for pharma, biopharma, and cell & gene therapy environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- MES Solutioning :
- Design and develop MES and digital manufacturing solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical sector, including biopharma and cell & gene therapy.
- Project Estimation :
- Prepare accurate estimations for large and complex multi-site pharmaceutical MES implementations, considering scope, timelines, and resources.
- Solution Articulation :
- Create clear and compelling presentations and documentation using MS PowerPoint and MS Word, effectively combining technical solutions with business context.
- Articulate the business value of proposed solutions to stakeholders and clients.
- Client Communication :
- Communicate solutions effectively to clients through presentations and verbal discussions, ensuring clarity and alignment with client needs.
- Recipe Design and Authoring :
- Lead recipe design and authoring for various pharmaceutical processes, including biologics, cell & gene therapy, solid and liquid dosage forms, and packaging.
- Project Lifecycle Support :
- Provide expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including solution development, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, to ensure solutions meet industry standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on MES solutions.
- Proficiency in Emerson Syncade or Werum PAS-X.
- Demonstrated experience in recipe design and authoring for various pharmaceutical products.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing environments.
- Experience in working with clients across different geographical locations and cultural backgrounds.
