ConGlobal is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Mechanic for our location in Phoenix, AZ
As a Lead Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for managing and developing the current trailer shop team. Responsibilities include leading the assessment and repair of our fleet of Container Chassis and Intermodal Containers at the Railyard.

Competitive Starting Pay : $23.00 - $31.00 hourly, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire mechanical operation, and for entire trailer shop operation safety, administration and productivity.
- Responsible for the training and orientation of all employees and ensures that every employee has the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to perform each task assigned
- Responsible for all administrative tasks related to terminal management
- Conducts routine / scheduled maintenance on railroad leased / owned containers and chassis
- Repairs equipment in accordance with railroad, IEP, manufacturer & FMCSA guidelines
- Documents repairs according to an established reporting system, verbally and in writing
- Repairs tires, brakes, lights, landing leg and framework
- Performs light welding when required

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5-year verifiable mechanic experience in ANY industry
- Minimum of 3-5-year verifiable experience working on 50lbs commercial tires.
- Minimum of 3-5-year verifiable experience working Automotive Electrical wiring
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs
- Open availability required (Nights, Weekends, & Holidays)
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Must have basic set of hand tools
- Valid Driver's License
