ABOUT THE ROLE
Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds, and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment managed by the LNG Project entities.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials onto trucks.
- Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader; moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material;
moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material
- Perform assignments outlined by the Foreman, and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties; work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation
- Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required Work Experience : 2 years general related to duties and responsibilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools
- Knowledge of company processes and procedures
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Able to prioritize work
- Valid driver’s license
