The role

of Enterprise Third Party Risk Governance Quality Assurance Senior Analyst will be responsible for partnering with SoFi Business Units, internal program stakeholders and external third party service providers to support the oversight and governance of SoFi’s Third Party Risk Management Program, through conducting assessments of the design and operational effectiveness of the program, to ensure compliance with requirements across the supplier lifecycle.

Key support domains include :

  • Collaborate with internal team and stakeholders to design and develop effective quality assurance strategies, across the end to end third party lifecycle, and in accordance with SoFi Third Party Risk Management Program requirements
  • Execute risk-based control and transactional testing, in alignment with program design, and document testing methodology and results
  • Analyze testing results, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide practical and risk-based actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate results and recommendations to internal stakeholders, and govern issues and actions developed through SoFi Issue Management Program requirements
  • Support program and process updates, and continue to guide third party program requirements, through results generated from quality assurance and testing execution

What you’ll do :

  • Innovate ... Bring your brightest ideas to ensure risk is being managed in alignment with regulatory guidance and best practice throughout third party life cycle (planning, due diligence, contract, on-going monitoring, and termination)
  • Make Data Driven Decisions Analyze documentation to assess third party risk and compliance with program requirements
  • Leave your Mark Communicate the results of the execution of testing strategies through clear and concise reporting of results
  • Provide Effective Challenge Lead operating process and control improvement by reviewing, monitoring and testing internal controls and making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate Build effective relationships with third party program stakeholders who support key functions, and own and support key third party relationships;

gain buy in and commitment from stakeholders to help manage and improve SoFi’s third party risk posture

  • Be a Risk SME Work in a collaborative, and constructive manner with business units and internal and external stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of processes and controls, and managing third party risk with key suppliers
  • Drive Performance Outcomes ... Monitor the risk and control environment to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels through issue monitoring administration and the oversight of remediation actions identified

What you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance
  • Minimum of five years of Quality Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance or Second Line Third Party Risk Management experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience designing, implementing or testing internal controls, and reviewing risk mitigation through oversight of key supplier relationships
  • Experience developing testing strategies, communicating and reporting on results and making recommendations for risk mitigation
  • Knowledge of Third Party Risk Management methodologies, regulatory expectations and risk mitigation principles

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

Pay range : $99,200.00 - $186,000.00

Payment frequency : Annual
