Position Overview :
The Administrative Assistant / Human Resources Liaison shall provide administrative and technical support to division supervisors and managers in civilian and military Human Resources (HR) functional areas.
This position performs work in support of human resource professionals and requires a good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guidelines, policies and precedents.
Provides HR office liaison support to Headquarters (HQ)'s, Directorates, divisions, and branches.
Essential Job Functions :
- May make recommendations on job classification, wage rates, and employee salaries.
- Involved in identifying potential issues and grievance procedures.
- Provide HR office liaison support to Headquarters (HQ)'s, divisions, and branches.
- Prepare, submit, and track necessary documentation
- Generate status reports to the appropriate offices for reconciliation.
- Ensures military Officer Performance Reports (OPRs) and military and civilian award packages are timely and comply with current policy requirements.
- Supports military and civilian personnel actions to include Change of Reporting Officials (CROs) and supports annual Civilian Compensated Contribution System (CCS) process
- Additional Administrative duties as potentially required : filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements :
- A minimum of 2 Years of Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Clearance
