Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to understand requirements and integrate Machine Learning (ML) solutions into our platform.
• Research and develop ML models and algorithms to enhance search recommendation systems.
• Analyze user behavior data to identify patterns and trends that can improve search recommendation accuracy.
• Continuously optimize and fine-tune algorithms based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Conduct experiments and A / B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different search recommendation strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ML and recommend innovative approaches to improve our search recommendation systems.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the ML infrastructure supporting search recommendation functionalities.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines for processing large-scale datasets.
• Mentor junior level engineers and interns.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of related work experience;

OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or

a related quantitative field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following :

• Coding using Python or C++;
• Optimizing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow;
• Developing code and identifying issues in Linux environment;
• Developing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems; and
• Utilizing Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.

Type : Full time, 40 hours / week

Location : San Jose, CA

Salary Range : $194000 to $355000 per year
