Position Summary :

Vestaron is looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Director of Product Marketing to help us grow in our overall marketing efforts.

You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to exceed targets from brand awareness to product introductions.

Must have deep agricultural industry experience and be able to grasp channel and grower trends and generate creative ideas as well as being equally versed in specialized marketing concepts.

The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs and insights that will help grow our reputation and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities :

• Participate and lead the strategic planning including positioning for new & existing markets, competitive analysis, customer segmentation & penetration plans, and related product positioning
• Identify, interpret, and capitalize on industry trends
• Develop and lead the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, programming, and selling our products
• Analyze competitive market offerings to identify differentiators and pricing / program strategies
• Evaluate partnership opportunities for products and / or integrated services
• Oversee product launches, providing product sales training and presentations
• Represent the voice of the customer at internal meetings
• Support the sales team and key channel partners
• Conduct market research to find answers about grower requirements, habits and trends
• Work with international external partners to execute on the local strategic marketing plan

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or marketing
• 15+ years of related experience in the agricultural market (insecticides preferred)
• Proven experience in progressive sales / marketing roles
• Ability to work in a diverse fast paced environment and clearly communicate cross-functionally
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO / social media etc.

and market research methods

• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Professional computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
• Well-organized and detail oriented
• Exceptional communication and writing capabilities
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have an entrepreneurial mindset
