Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Tooling Development Center (TDC) in the Port St Lucie, Florida area.
The TDC is a crucial component of our client's manufacturing operations, focusing on the production of high-end fiberglass boats.
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing logistical operations, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental policies, achieving quality standards, and meeting project objectives.

Key Objectives :
- Ensure the smooth flow of information for all projects, managing complete work packages.
- Oversee the CAD Modelers Team and maintain the overall TDC production schedule.
- Timely ordering of materials and serving as the primary interface with various companies regarding TDC efforts.
- Provide leadership, technical training, and ensure compliance with safety / environmental policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Ensure continuous safety improvement and maintain a zero-recordable safety environment.
- Support the development of a passionate leadership team focused on winning and continuous improvement.
- Drive workplace organization using the 5S method.
- Resolve problems within scope and escalate when necessary.
- Interact with other departments to address production issues.
Job Specific Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain schedules for all TDC tooling efforts.
- Ensure 3D models are complete and machine-ready, obtaining approvals for adjustments.
- Directly order materials for projects and prepare comprehensive work order travelers.
- Develop and maintain TDC-approved project management processes (SOP).
- Coordinate scheduling and monitor labor / material costs per job order.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires.
Proficiencies :
- Scheduling / Time management
- Effective communication with project contacts and TDC Managers
- Bill of Material calculation and monitoring
Qualifications :
- Compliance with safety policies, practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Good technical knowledge and skills in the assigned area.
- Strong relational skills with all levels of the organization.
- Clear communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of Syteline and Windows-based software, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 2-4 years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
