International Order Management Specialist

Nova Biomedical is hiring an International Order Management Specialist on-site in our Billerica, MA ( Lexington Rd) facility (Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM).

This role will be the single point of contact for all issues relating to order processing, pricing, and transportation for International distributors and subsidiaries.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Managing and processing International Distributor, Subsidiary Orders, and other orders as assigned in SAP and Esker.
  • Managing customer backlog.
  • Communicating with customers.
  • Having a customer-centric mindset and the ability to see situations from the customer's viewpoint.
  • Setting up best shipping methods.
  • Meeting individual goals and contributing to team goals.
  • Being the contact for International Tech Services for specific country groups, answering shipping questions and advising time frame for upgrade and service material to field by analyzing requirements and advising best and worst case shipping possibilities.
  • Classifying merchandise for transport into and out of the country. Handling duty, tariff, and currency adjustment factory as needed.
  • Preparing import / export documentation, as needed, including licenses, customs declaration, forwarder letters of instruction, B / L etc.
  • Preparing hazardous material declarations and advising shipping of packaging requirements.
  • Interfacing with Purchasing to set up import routes and transport methods for foreign sourced inventory.
  • Researching and applying ECCNs, license codes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable import / export regulations.

Qualifications / Skills and Competencies :

  • Certification in hazardous goods. Heavy export / import compliance background.
  • Knowledge of International Licensing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft product suite.
  • Previous SAP experience preferred.

Education / Experience :

  • High School graduate.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
