Hiring due to an uptick in Fraud and looking for Fraud Investigators. This team consists of three parts : triage, case working, and case closing.
Employees will be working on the triage and case working portions of the business, while the closing will be handled by the AML team.
The specific fraud this team is addressing is ATO (Account Takeover Fraud). This is not the "fun" investigation type of fraud.
Once they have seen ten cases, they will be well versed in easily identifying the fraud. They are experiencing a backlog of cases and need help to support the increase in fraud.
Employees must be willing to assist with triaging cases and working on cases to help reduce the backlog. They may be required to communicate with those impacted by suspected fraud and start working the case.
They will be drafting SARs from a pre-populated form. This role requires customer interfacing as they will handle about 10 calls a day, either inbound or outbound, as cases come in.
Some fraud alerts will be generated by the software, and some may come from customer service representatives along with other avenues.
Software used : e-mail, OnBase, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
Time to process a case :
- Triage 30 mins
- Case development 2 hours
- Closing 30 mins
Duration : 3 months with potential for extension. There is potential for one, maybe two employees to be converted to full-time, but those employees would need to be local to the Minneapolis market as it would be hybrid.

Must Haves :
- Very good communication skills, both written and verbal ( MUST be eager and excited to be on the phones since they may receive up to 10 calls per day )
- 1 year of fraud experience with a preference for SAR writing experience
- 2 years of financial services experience
- H.S. Diploma
- Prefer candidates with ATO (Account Takeover fraud) experience, but not a deal breaker
