Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling piping systems, as well as performing welding tasks in a shop setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Knowledge of reading and interpreting blue-prints and drawings.

Measure and cut piping materials to specifications.

Fabrication and assembly of welded spool pieces

Welding experience on STIG / MIG / TIG.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.

Collaborate with Branch / Shop Manager to ensure timely project completion.

Troubleshoot and resolve piping and welding issues as they arise.

Document work performed and maintained accurate records of materials and time spent.

Requirements :

Five 5 + years experience working as a Pipefitter / welder.

AWS certified Welder

DOB Card

Knowledge of Hydraulic Cutter, Threading and Grooving (300 & 700 Machine)

Knowledge of utility (ConEd and National Grid) procedures is a plus

Electrical experience is a plus.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.

Proven experience as a pipefitter and welder, with a minimum of 5 plus years in the field.

Proficient in various welding techniques and pipe fitting methods.

Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).

Capability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending.
