Purpose
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Packaging and Kitchen Departments. The Processing Supervisor is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
Pay for this role starts at $55,000 / year
Essential Duties
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Help to oversee Pharmacann and Livwell Production Operations under the direction of the MIP Processing Manager
- Supervise employees, including developing, planning, assigning work, directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
- Understand and assist with each department’s daily processes and goals
- Help evaluate department performance and maximize efficiencies
- Transparent and open communication with cross functional teams
- Work to improve organizational performance, train in a timely manner, and strive to increase productivity. Train employees to meet and exceed daily quotas.
- Ensure product quality is to company standards and assist with compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- Perform his / her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry
- Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures
- Work with the warehouse and procurement to maintain processing equipment supplies and consumables inventory
- Work with the maintenance team to perform corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment as required to maintain efficient operation
- Package of PharmaCann’s Medical product as needed.
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceeds PharmaCann’s specifications and patients’ expectations;
such quality assurance work shall include, but not limited to : Record and monitor process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating proceduresProper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout PharmaCann’s processExecute tests on required analytical equipmentWork with 3rd party laboratories on sampling and lot control for their sample gathering and reporting
- Continually strive to improve PharmaCann’s processes for improved customer / patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing
- Support new product and process development work with our Process / Product Development team
- Ability to author and execute manufacturing batch records and SOPs
- Enforce all company policies and regulations
- Provide coverage in the processing departments as business needs require
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum
- State law requires that applicants be 21 years old to work for cultivation center
- One (1) year of applicable or related processing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.

Working conditions
- Requires overtime according to business needs
- Must remove all jewelry, including rings, brooches, watches, pins, earrings, necklaces and visible piercings. In addition, false nails, nail polish, false eyelashes and any other object that may possibly contaminate food is not allowed in the processing / production areas
Physical requirements
Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipment.
Ability to be fitted for, and wear protective gear.
