The Human Resources Manager / Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development.
This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on HR best practices, driving initiatives that support our company's goals, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances fairly and consistently.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Design and implement policies and procedures that support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration to ensure competitive and fair practices.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage HR initiatives and projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
