While we are preparing for opening, the job posting will reflect our corporate office location in Wisconsin, but this is a remote position, based in Richmond, Virginia.

With over 150,000 square feet of indoor convention space, enticing on-site restaurants, diverse shopping, and expansive venues, any event at the Virginia Kalahari is sure to be incredible! Opening fall 2026, this resort will feature 907 rooms and suites, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, free parking, our signature waterpark, and so much more!

We invite you to apply for our open Sales Manager position with Kalahari Resort & Conventions in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Reporting to the property Director of Sales, this position must be based within commuting distance of Richmond, Virginia.

Your primary objective is to solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in the Association market segment through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.

This position will be remote, with frequent travel to the resort upon opening.

Required Qualifications :

  • At least four years' hotel sales experience is desired, with proven success in prospecting, developing, and closing group business in the Association market
  • Previous experience selling hotel group room nights in Richmond, Virginia is required, including current relationships and a track record of established business and accounts in that market.
