Role

The Project Manager oversees projects from initiation to closure, coordinating team activities and ensuring timely completion.

They identify resources, develop schedules, and interface with stakeholders to ensure project success. Additionally, the role involves understanding system scope, managing project objectives, and maintaining quality standards.

Supporting clients in health and welfare, defined contribution, and defined contributions services, and other products.

Responsibilities

  • Being accountable for projects and / or implementations across services for the client(s)
  • Managing projects and / or implementations of various sizes and complexities from beginning to end
  • Working seamlessly with control account managers and business leaders focused on client delivery and satisfaction
  • Championing and utilizing the principles of the Operating System for all work performed
  • Writing, monitoring and managing project plans, while performing risk management
  • Delivering capacity plans and financial management for various projects that impact the work group of client(s).
  • Responding promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Communicating regularly with stakeholders on progress and risk
  • Sharing knowledge and learnings between projects to drive process improvements.
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project.
  • Leading / participating in client meetings and leading internal meetings
  • Coaching and developing globally the project / implementation team to deliver exceptional service

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent experience in project management. Effectively running meetings, establishing goals, setting priority, defining roles and responsibilities, assigning tasks, closing issues, resolving conflict, and moving projects forward.
  • Be able to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management process and tools.
  • Have experience coaching client team(s) on effective consulting for projects
  • Communicate effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact.
  • Be able to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
  • Be able o work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
  • Demonstrate project budgeting / costing expertise.
  • Demonstrate ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
  • Be proficient with MS Office.
  • Show excellent critical thinking and problem solving sills.
  • Experience facilitating project progress through listening, influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the tools, techniques, and software needed for project management.
