Tanque Verde Pediatrics an established pediatric practice searching for a Medical Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with patients and their families to provide excellent service and advance the best interests of the patients.
We're looking for motivated individuals with a genuine passion for working with children and a desire to advance the practice of pediatrics.
Responsibilities :
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Care coordination with patients, pharmacies, labs, specialists, and hospitals
- Submitting / Obtaining Medication and referral prior authorization
- Review test results and discuss the data with physicians or other health care professionals.
- Communicate with patients, family members, and members of the medical team, such as doctors and nurses.
- Assisting physicians with processing and completing paperwork
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
