Employment Terms : This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Coordinator for Recruitment.
This position will report to the Alpharetta North-Fulton Campus.
Salary :
Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience not to exceed the budgeted amount of $ per hour.
Schedule :
19 hrs per week day position. Monday -Thursday 10 AM 5 PM; Saturday 9 : 00AM-3 : 00PM. This position requires a flexible schedule.
Working on Saturdays is an essential part of this position .
Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 61767) :
Associate’s degree *and* Three (3) years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications : The applicant must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work under pressure in a professional manner;
ability to multi-task, problem solve, and maintain effective relationships with personnel and customers. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to exhibit professional customer service skills.
The applicant must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments. The applicant must be a team player, flexible, and have an exceptional customer service attitude.
- Experience with Ellucian banner screens as it relates to college studentfiles.
- Experience with advising high school students regarding high school graduationrequirements.
- Experience with assisting students with college admissionsrequirements.
- Experience with explaining processes and policies to the parents of high schoolstudents.
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation through the use of pivot tables, V-look up and otherfunctions.
Job Description Summary :
Under general supervision, the Recruitment Specialist is a front-facing team member who assists high school dual enrollment students along with secondary and postsecondary staff with information relating to college recruitment efforts.
Performs advanced and diversified clerical duties requiring broad experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and procedures supporting the department.
Completes administrative tasks and special projects as requested, including but not limited to personnel, budgeting, and records management.
May assist in purchasing and accounting tasks. May be cross- trained in various assignments related to the operation of the department.
