Position Title : Technical Recruiter (Remote) Company : Conceras Location : Remote (U.S. based) Job Type : Full-Time Reports to : HR Director Position Overview : As a Technical Recruiter , you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top technical talent to meet our growing federal IT client demands.
This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of the technical recruiting landscape, particularly in the IT and federal government sectors.
You will work closely with hiring managers and the HR Director to fill a variety of technical positions, ensuring Conceras attracts and retains the best talent.
Key Responsibilities : Full-cycle Recruitment : Manage the full recruiting process, from sourcing to onboarding, for positions within the federal IT space.
Candidate Sourcing : Use innovative sourcing methods, including cold calling, direct recruitment, and networking, to find and attract top technical talent.
Relationship Building : Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Screening & Interviewing : Conduct pre-screening and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.
Job Postings & ATS Management : Write and post job descriptions on job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs) and manage applicant information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as JazzHR.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers : Partner with the HR Director and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruiting plans.
Database Management : Maintain accurate records in the ATS, including candidate profiles, salary expectations, interview feedback, and communications.
Required Qualifications : Experience : Minimum of 3 to 4 years of technical / IT recruiting experience, preferably in the federal government or defense contracting sectors.
Technical Acumen : Strong understanding of technical roles and federal IT landscape, including experience recruiting for positions requiring security clearances.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Self-Driven : Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Technology Proficiency : Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ATS software (e.g., JazzHR), and professional networking tools (LinkedIn Recruiter).
Cold Calling Comfort : Experience in candidate outreach, including cold calling and relationship-building. Preferred Experience : Familiarity with job boards and recruiting platforms such as ClearanceJobs , LinkedIn Recruiter , and Indeed .
