JobDescription :
As an ApplicationEngineer you will be responsible for designing developing andmaintaining software applications to meet business needs and ensurehigh performance and reliability.
You will work closely withcrossfunctional teams including developers project managers and QAengineers to deliver innovative solutions that align with clientrequirements and business goals.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Design develop and implement softwareapplications based on business requirements and technicalspecifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholdersto gather and analyze requirements translating them into technicalsolutions and application features.
- Write cleanscalable and efficient code ensuring adherence to coding standardsand best practices.
- Develop and executeapplication testing plans including unit testing integrationtesting and performance testing to ensure software quality andreliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolveapplication issues including debugging code fixing defects andoptimizing performance.
- Implement and maintainapplication monitoring and logging systems to proactively identifyand address potential issues.
- Collaborate withDevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and integrateapplications with existing systems.
- Documentapplication design code and development processes to ensure clearcommunication and maintainability.
- Stay currentwith emerging technologies and industry trends recommending andimplementing improvements to enhance application performance andfunctionality.
- Provide technical support andtraining to endusers and internal teams asneeded.
- Participate in code reviews andcontribute to continuous improvement initiatives within thedevelopment team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science SoftwareEngineering or a related field.
- 3 years ofexperience as an Application Engineer or in a similarrole.
- Proficiency in programming languages suchas Java C# Python or JavaScript.
- Familiaritywith database systems and technologies including SQL and NoSQLdatabases.
- Understanding of softwaredevelopment methodologies including Agile andScrum.
- Experience with version control systemssuch as Git.
- Strong problemsolving skills andthe ability to troubleshoot complex applicationissues.
- Excellent communication and teamworkskills with the ability to collaborate effectively withcrossfunctional teams.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWSAzure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge ofcontainerization and orchestration tools such as Docker andKubernetes.
- Familiarity with applicationsecurity practices and tools.
- Experience withautomated testing frameworks andtools.
