Under the direction of the Manager of Developmental Education, the English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor will conduct various levels of ESL courses by means of group lectures / discussions either in classroom setting in accordance with established course outcomes and curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching ESL and a commitment to helping students improve their language skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lesson plans that address various language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and confidence.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Administer pre- and post-tests to assess student levels and improvement in the dominion of the English language.
- Maintain daily attendance rosters and other required documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
