Purpose of the Position :
The Research Engineer I will conduct research in plasma science and support FTPP projects.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Conduct research in plasmas and work with collaborators
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research
- Prepare papers and presentations for conferences and journals
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree
- 0 - 12 months directly related full-time work experience in engineering or physics
- Excellent communication skills
- Moderate to advanced technical knowledge
Desired Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Engineering or Physics
- 4 years experience with experimental plasma research
- Specific experience with optical diagnostics
- Laser produced plasmas, and magnetized plasmas
Published Salary (if available) :
$51,304 - $55,000
