Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :
- Verification of the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Processing utilities payables efficiently and accurately.
- Preparing journal entries that reflect all financial transactions.
- Data entry to support financial reporting and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant :
- An Associate's degree in accounting is required for the staff accountant role.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a relevant field.
- The staff accountant should have an highly organized approach with a strong attention to detail.
- The staff accountant should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
