Akkodis is seeking a " Civil Designer Assistant" / "Senior Civil Designer" for a Direct- hire position with a client located in Kansas city, MO.
We have 2 roles; salary depends on yrs . of exp.
Salary : $65-85k (Nego.)
They contribute 15% on top of your salary to an employee stock option program (ESOP)
10-15% bonus
Job Summary :
- Assist with a variety of civil assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, sizing various system components, and refining rough sketches.
- Assist with initial rough designs or sketches and mark-ups on ongoing projects.
- Assist with analyzing reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects.
- Interpret and apply design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
Required skills :
- Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field and two years related experience or associate's degree and three years related experience or four years progressive detailing and design experience.
- Basic understanding of design software MicroStation, Open Roads or Open Site and Excel to develop the design deliverables.
Knowledge in Civil3D is desirable.
