Position Overview
Within our Solutions Consulting role, you will be responsible for providing presales and post sales functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the application to clients’ business. Develop and deliver high quality presentations and product demonstrations.
Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Vitech solutions. Design, validate, and present Vitech software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complementary products.
Presents and articulate Vitech’s products, and strengths in its underlying technology, relative to competitors.
Develop and demonstrate moderately complex solutions. Architect and prototype solutions for customers. Interact with development to enhance / refine Vitech’s products.
Deliver high quality technical presentations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide exemplary pre-sales expertise through product presentations, demonstrations, and on-going sales consultation.
- Translate product features into value drivers.
- Respond to initial functional product requests in RFPs and pre-sales engagements and frame product issues for discussion and resolution with Product and Engineering teams.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver functional presentations to prospects and customers.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver functional training to improve product knowledge of the Sales Engineering team.
- Build working knowledge of competing products and how to sell against them.
- Work collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing and Engineering during the development, launch and continuing refinement of existing and new Vitech products.
- Effectively communicate w / engineers & stakeholders. Describe problems succinctly to enable issue management.
- Become an expert in Vitech Research (Vitech Labs) to communicate emerging technologies to prospects and customers.
- Develop / maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of prior Sales / Systems Engineering, or Solution Architect experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud environment, selling to C / VP level buyers.
- High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments.
- Group Insurance knowledge with hands-on software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle, including CI / CD and DevOps practices.
- Outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities; comfortable supporting enterprise sales teams on targeted accounts.
- Ability to explain common technical aspects of SaaS software, including security, protocols for APIs, SLAs, email / communication specifications, etc.
- Ability to see and present 'the big picture' to solve customer problems.
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be prepared to learn new technologies and industries.
- Must be able to pivot to other system related tasks when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
