Electronics Technician / ICT FCT Technician, Weekend Shift Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze failure data
- Conduct in circuit and functional tests based on customer requirements
- Responsible for data input of auditing / testing activities into quality systems
- Perform debug activities to ensure product meets manufacturing testing requirements
- Follow test procedures, customer drawings and / or visual aids.
- Provide feedback to engineering department for test procedure improvements
- Communicate with team members and supervisors relative to defect findings
- Participate in performance feedback
- Escalate issues regarding quality to supervisor / quality engineer
- Escalate issues regarding malfunctioning test fixtures to supervisor and / or maintenance staff
- Additional duties as assigned
Essential Job Functions

- Continuous inspection of products / objects / materials, simple / complex planning, simple calculations, ability to comprehend basic and technical written language, ability to comprehend simple and technical verbal language
- Continuous logic to define problems, basic counting / addition / subtractions, ability to converse in standard English
- Occasional algebra / geometry / statistics and ability to write letters or memos
- PPE required : ESD heel straps, ESD smock, safety glasses / goggles, ESD wrist strap when sitting
Technical
- Previous EMS testing and / or production experience is a plus
- Knowledgeable of ICT / FCT test fixtures
- Ability to troubleshoot defects down to component level
- Ability to analyze failure activity and determine root cause
- Good computer skills
- Ability to perform required tests to product / customer specifications
- Must be able to successfully complete position certification course
