I am currently working with a well-funded, technology-driven Series D Fintech seeking a hands-on leader to drive their credit management efforts.
This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced credit models, minimizing credit losses, and collaborating with top-tier engineers and data scientists.
You'll be responsible for the credit performance of our portfolio and ensuring it continues to improve. Candidates should have a strong background in credit modeling and risk management within consumer lending, deep technical expertise with proficiency in SQL and / or Python, and a strong intellectual curiosity.

What We're Looking For :
- A credit modeling expert with deep insights and a track record of solving complex credit challenges.
- Proven experience in building and deploying credit risk models that achieve significant improvements in performance metrics.
- Hands-on leadership with ability to operate across the entire spectrum of credit management-from granular loan-level decisions to strategic regulatory engagement.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with Engineers, Data Architects, and DevOps teams.
- Intellectual curiosity, with a passion for asking "why" and diving deep into problem-solving.
Qualifications :
- Strong experience in consumer credit modeling and risk management, ideally within a major bank or fast-growing fintech.
- Demonstrated success in leading and shaping the direction of credit trends in previous roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and / or Python, with a solid background in statistics, experiment design, and machine learning.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
