A law firm seeks a Labor And Employment Associate Attorney for its Kansas City, MO office.
Job Overview :
The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in various labor and employment law matters.
The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload and work closely with partners and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Duties :
- Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and administrative proceedings
- Assist with litigation preparation and strategy, including discovery and motion practice
- Provide proactive counseling to clients on compliance with labor and employment laws
- Stay current on developments in labor and employment law and advise clients accordingly
Requirements :
- 2-5 years of labor and employment law experience
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism
Education & Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Missouri State Bar
