Medical Billing Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is urgently hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our healthcare client located in Fife, WA. This role will be a contract opportunity assisting with an AR cleanup and will be onsite throughout the duration of the contract.
The role will be focused on the backend of the billing cycle, accounts receivable, and will be working aged accounts, denials, and bringing in reimbursements for our client.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing / accounts receivable experience required
- Must be proficient within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office
Skills
- Ability to multitask throughout the day and adapt to different priorities as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with all insurances (commercial, Medicare / Medicaid)
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have extensive experience working the backend of billing and understanding denials and code modifiers
