At the Katie Hageboeck Children’s Cancer Research Fund Clinic , we offer world-class childhood cancer and blood and marrow transplant care for children and adolescents of all ages.
Our caring team of pediatric hematologist-oncologists and other specialists focus on the treatment of cancers, blood diseases, anemia, disorders of blood clotting, immune deficiency and more! In addition, we are home to the Team One Four Infusion Center where we provide a wide range of outpatient infusions to pediatric patients.
What you will do :
- You will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits.
- Monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records.
- Act as valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others.
- Depending on scope of certification or license, some employees will be assisting with minor in office procedures, giving injections and immunizations and other laboratory / sample collections.
What you will need :
- As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) : NREMT & MN EMT certification
- As a Medical Assistant (MA) : Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA / CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred)
- As an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) : Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license
If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate’s specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.

Hours : 1.0 FTE - 40 hours / week
Sign-On Bonus : $3,000.00 - Bonus may be available to qualified applicants
