Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Aerospace Repair Station Quality Supervisor. This position will be located at our Beltsville, MD facility.
Certain duties performed by this role require this position to be subject to the guidelines of our Repair Station Certificate and are subject to Random DOT drug testing.
The Repair Station Quality Systems Manager is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and deploying work procedures and associated process controls as it relates to quality while acting as Accountable Manager for the FAA Repair Station.
In this role, you will review customer / industry / internal specifications and partner closely with operations and front-end new product development to ensure compliance.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105225.03 - $154330.04 a year.

What you’ll do :
- Assume role of Accountable Manager for FAA Repair Station including maintaining procedures, and training records, performing supplier quality surveillance, hosting customer and regulatory agency audits, and completing customer quality surveys.
- Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes to meet Aerospace standards.
- Provide guidance and oversight to repair station inspection personnel.
- Lead or provide technical advice and counsel to cross-functional teams assigned to process improvement projects / problem solving teams / product development teams.
- Assure that product shipped meets internal and external customer requirements.
- Develop and implement corrective actions including verification activities.
- Provide technical support to both internal & external customers, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards. Ensure these documents align with the recognized Aerospace Quality System Standard as well as Eaton Objectives, Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications :
Required (Basic) Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment or as a quality professional.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Statistics from an accredited institution.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Thorough understanding of machining, welding, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and / or FAA Repair Station experience.
Skills :

- Thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience
