Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the . These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago).
Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Reporter to join our dynamic team! We are seeking a highly creative individual who routinely generates unique story ideas and is willing to take risks to tell those stories using non-traditional techniques both on-air and on-line.
Applicants must display the ability to research, write and deliver compelling stories both live and on tape. Must show strong proficiency for breaking news coverage, ad libbing, and superior interview skills.
Work cohesively with producers, editors and photographers to create news stories and features. Work accurately and efficiently meeting tight deadlines.
Develop and maintain sources. Make public appearances on behalf of the station. Must have strong track record using social media to attract, inform and engage the audience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience reporting. Proficiency with newsroom computers and related software required. Local / national travel, weekends, holidays, varied work hours required.
Four year college degree required. Experience in investigative and political reporting a plus. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid AZ driver’s license and be able to drive.
